Paypal/Credit Card/Refund Question

Here's one for people using Paypal on a more regular or in depth manner than I do.

I usually just use Paypal for eBay buying and selling, but I recently (well, a month ago), ordered a camera from an online store. They then gave me a bit of a run around and, well, general **** customer service and it's come to me getting a refund (apparently going to take 7-14 days, but anyway!).

I was just wondering, as I paid the money over paypal, using a credit card, when I get the refund, will it go into the paypal account or back onto the credit card?

(I've asked on the Paypal "help" community, but had nothing back and I know my brothers and sisters on TB tend to be pretty sharp on, well, anything!)

I only ever had to do that once, but it went back to my CC, not into my PayPal account.

I paid for shoes from zappos using pp with Amex as funding source. Refund went to the card.
