If i bought a computer from the good ol' USA, will it work powersupply wise in the UK. I know all the other components should be fine. I'm broke, as is my PC, am going to build a new one and the exchange rate kicks ass for us Brits.

Right, off to an exam lets see if you can help me by the time im done, ironically its an ICT exam....

Most power supplies today are either switchable 120/240 volts, or auto-sensing. Just check that, and you should be fine.
