I always use clean cutlery when dipping into different jars.

*ahem*

Major pet peeve of mine is when people leave milk sitting on the worktop instead of putting it back in the fridge!

Oh goodness, my family loves to use the margarine in a tub stuff and just leave it out on the counter. Just put it back, they seem to be able to do that with everything except the margarine!

I use separate bowls or a divided plate so my food doesn't touch. I'd just get a new jar of jam and label it so my son wouldn't touch it. He doesn't care if his food touches.

What's worse, PB in the jam jar or jam in the PB jar?
I clean off my knife between the margarine, PB and jam, but I don't use a fresh knife for each.

Yes, I like margarine or butter on my bread with my PB&J, am I wierd?

That's what my ol' Grandpaw used to do--slobbery as hell, too. Gawd, that grossed me out. I NEVER ate a PBJ sandwich at his house.

I used getting peanut butter in the jelly jar or vice versa as an excuse to gob more on until all traces of it in the jar are gone.

It works out since I'm someone who likes 1lb PB&J's
