Peavey Neo PA Speakers

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone here used the Peavey Neo PA Speakers? I'm looking to get a couple PA speakers for our band, and the lighter weight of the Neos sounds appealing to my back. I'm thinking of getting a pair of PR15N speakers to start with and maybe add a sub later depending on how well these do with the low end.

Thanks,

MX

A drummer friend of mine bought theses speakers and for our application they are fine.
But do not expect these speakers to have great low end.

If you are just running vocal and a bit of bass drum (as we do)they should suffice. But for really strong low end reinforcement I'd have to say be prepared to buy the sub soon.

IMHO,YMMV,and all that.

I like my 15's. We use them for practice and small parties, just for vocals and a little bass drum. This past weekend I saw a 5 pieces blues rock band get by with 2 of the 10" models (just vox and harmonica through them). I've seen a good number of bars play their music (CD, MP3, radio) through the 10" and 12" models. Very good for the price and weight in my opinion.

I'm going to get a couple 15s. I've also got a sub to use with them. I'll post my results.

Thanks,

MX
