I'm betting there were rugrats in the car, screaming their heads off for McNuggets and nothing else.

In my day that's when dear old dad leaned over the seat and gave all three of us five across the eyes in one fluid motion

Ayup. Screamin' and cryin' not only got you a smackin', but it got you no snacks whatsoever.

In my jeep, it is still 1969.

McNuggets are nasty. If I want chicken tenders, I go to the local chicken shack, where the meat is identifiable as an actual chicken breast.

Don't they have chicken shacks outside the South? Do people just have no where else to go? Heck, the convenience store serves fried chicken breast, as well as livers, gizzards, fresh-made burgers, and a host of Tex-Mex foods. We don't need no stinkin' McD's.

6:30 am on January 1st . . . my guess is she was still up from the night before and needed her nuggets to ease the crash.

I would bet the contents of my wallet that drugs, not screaming kids, were behind this fiasco.

Imma gonna go ahead and coin their next catch phrase (which would be applicable here, considering this dolt's state of mind) once "I'm luvin it" dies a horrible death:

it's a McMERGENCY!

So, when McCorp rips me off, this is my copyright stamp.

Some places do, Cherie, but they're not as common. In Chicago, we have Harold's Chicken Shack, which serves up all kinds of fried chicken (and it's 100 times better than McD's).
