BTW, what's a "pushy" bike ride, for us Yanks?
pushbike, ya push pedals with your feet to drive the chain that drives the back wheel.

I worked a ski season once as a young fella. Boy did it piss me off at the end of the season cleaning up the soggy cig butts that had piled up when there was snow. A smoking member of staff should have had that pleasure.

In the 80s, we lived in Nashville. I was always amazed at how little respect people had for their environment, and it was evident by the large amounts of trash along the highways and bi-ways compared to Wisconsin. We spend last weekend in Nashville, driving down from Wisconsin, and the reduction of trash along the highways on the drive there was very noticeable.

One thing that always bugs me, north, south, east, west is the cig butts flicked out the car windows.

Two incidents I noticed yesterday.

Several of the stores in the area had their early morning Black Friday sales and people lined up for hours. While waiting in line, people had large cups of coffee, soda, etc. and I noticed that many cups were thrown in the store property and parking lots. There were two very large garbage cans right in front of the doors and people were too lazy to drop them in the cans on their way into the stores. Also, there must have been many people who obviously were smoking quite a few cigarettes and then just dropped them onto the store grounds because I saw them everywhere.

I was at our local Wal-Mart plaza last night and noticed that somebody left a large food container laying in the parking lot and yet there are numerous garbage cans a couple parking spaces away in front on every store and throughout the parking lot next to every shopping cart stand.

It's amazing how some people are disgusting pigs.
