The world we live in. | In general, people love their messes. They may be addicted to the mess or have a vested interest in the mess continuing. Some may be afraid of change. Others may have said the mess could not be cleaned up ever or only cleaned up through their way of doing things. If someone else succeeds or succeeds through a different method, those people will be proven wrong.

The main reason people are not liked in any situation is generally because of the unknown. We as humans do not trust openly anymore. We have been burned so many times, lied to, cheated on, and used, that it is hard to trust, thus, the "person trying to fix" what has been broken is seen as another in a long line of abusers, and only a complete fix will ever get the credibility that may be deserved. If "anything" got accomplished to start with, and not another, in a long line of failures, lies or cheating.  |
