Phelps 12,000 calorie a day diet

Sign in to disble this ad

thats alot of grub

Phelps has to keep his intake up in order to compensate for all the calories he burns during the 30-hours per week he spends in training. He told NBC that an average day might have the following menu:

Breakfast: 3 fried egg sandwiches, 2 cups coffee, 5-egg omlette, bowl of grits, 3 pieces of french toast, 3 chocolate chip pancakes

Lunch: 1 pound pasta, 2 ham and cheese sandwiches, energy drink (1,000 calorie)

Dinner: 1 pound pasta, 1 large pizza, energy drink (1,000 calorie)

No, that would cause him to explode, maybe in the pool All protein and carbs and TONS of them. Any fiber would with that mixture could be dangerous I'm sure he heats more fiber when he's not competing.

Dude, I would fall asleep directly after finishing the last bite of my chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.. Only way to consume that and remain alert is to work-out and train, otherwise a normal person would be lethargic.

Have you seen him? He'd only become a fatass if he ate that way and wasn't doing intense physical training all day every day. Like jady.

To be honest, I've got no idea who he is.

I live under a rock, you see.

He's got the record for most gold medals in his career though, becoming the most successful Olympian ever.
