Phone: Motorola Backflip vs. LG Shine Plus

I'm switching to a new phone plan because I'm able to get a cheaper plan. I don't have money enough to move up in plans right now, so I was able to get a phone plan that has more features for cheaper.

That being said, I'm getting a new phone with it. I wanted to try out a cheaper Android phone, but in order to get this plan I'm limited to 2:

LG Shine Plus: http://www.telusmobility.com/en/ON/l...us/index.shtml

Motorola Backflip:
http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US...EN?localeId=33

Now I know that the Backflip has a strange design, but I've read that the keyboard is durable even though it's exposed. I keep good care of my stuff.

So, has anyone had any experience with either of these? Or can anyone see which of them is any better (maybe they can see something I'm not or know what to look for)?

Help would be appreciated!

I know they're not the most popular choices but nobody?

Every LG phone I have owned has been reliable. I would always upgrade by choice instead of getting a new device after an LG broke.

Motorola devices though, have had some problems for me on and off over the years.

I was leaning more towards the Motorola because of specs and some other things I was looking for. Any LG product I've had has been reliable so I don't dispute that. I'll take that into consideration, thanks!
