Photobucket help please.

Hi,

I usually post pictures from my computer and get a thumbnail image from photoshop but I decided I wanted to post full frame pictures without a thumbnail so....I set up a Photobucket account this morning and clicked on the "direct link" button next to the image now I just need to get that image to appear in the "Manage attachments" window on the Talkbass new post window. I hope I'm describing the situation clearly....Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Giorgetto.

- Click the 'Go Advanced' button at the bottom of a TalkBass Quick Reply window

- then right-click on your Photobucket image and choose 'Copy Image Location' from the pop-up window (doing this will copy the URL of your image to the clipboard)

- now left-click the icon at the top of the TalkBass window and paste in your image's URL into the pop-up box and click 'OK'.

- then click the 'Preview Post' button below the two rows of smilie icons which are located at the bottom of the TalkBass window.

Wouldn't using the [img] [/img.] bb codes (no dot) do the job in a fewer less steps? I may not understand the question tho.

Imageshack is a whole lot easier and the images never go to the big server in the sky.

I use Facebook to host smaller low-rez graphics (since I'm on Fb anyway).
