Photography - Random shots

Sign in to disble this ad
Been a little busy and I don't think I have posted any photos in a while. Here are some random shots from around Detroit. Some are a couple years old, some are new.

Bell Isle shot.

Inside anomious building.

Same building.

Somewher else.

Always liked this one.

In honor Detroits very own Faygo pop celebrating it's 100th anniversary.

The giant hulk looking building was empty for over 20 years, they are finnaly rennovating it. Detroits skyline is finally starting to look like a real city.

Taken from the roof of that building being rennovated.

Taken 3 days ago.

Fantastic shots. Do you do any post processing work in Photoshop?

Just cropping, tonal, and color corrections. I always thought images that were over processed in photoshop look too fake, so I try and keep them simple and clear as possible. Uses of different films can go a long way as well.

I used to do darkroom work, but that costs too much money and involves too much work.

I have to say, I love that last photograph, however, it does look a tiny bit magenta to me, although that could just be this monitor.
Kudos.

The brick wall is my new background. Seeing all those old buildings gives me so many ideas for condos. If I only had some investors with about $4 million to work with.
