Photography - Some Christmas cheer

Well we had snow up until the other day, but it melted and it rained today instead. So it kind of ruined what I was going for.

Anyways I had more fun at the old Packard Motors Plant. This past year marked the 100th aniversity of the plant. I'm surprised it's still standing.

A Nikon film SLR. It's a pretty decent camera I think.

That's awesome, man. I always want to steal your pictures and keep them for myself. In fact, I think I have one of your old ones as my myspace background.

Great work, as usual, BB. The graffiti's reflection and the endless depth on the distance shots are especially striking to me. Do you do your own development and processing?

Do you have high resolution copies of number 4 and 8?

Nah, I just take my film to to store and have them process it. I could do it myself, but it's too expensive and prone to mistakes. I just scan the negatives into the computer and edit them there.

Sure do. I have them at 2400 ppi (about 20 mb), so they can get blown up pretty big. I can scan them in at even higher resolutions, but that takes up tons of room on the hard-drive.

Well I wasn't thinking anything that big, I just want them for my background without getting grainy. Number 8 is the one that I really want. If you could email me a HR shot of it, that would be fantastic. I'll PM you my email.

Don't you wish you could buy an old building like that and convert it into one giant house with a cool recording studio? Only a non-musician thinks you couldn't spend a million dollars in one day. I think any one of us could spend that much in less than an hour! I would be the idiot that would spend a million on some vintage instrument that wouldn't even be playable!
