Photoshop Question..

Photoshop CS4...

anyways, say i cut somebodys head from a pic and put it on another pic, but his head is still too big. how do i adjust one layers size?

I use Photoshop Elements, but this should be the same.

When you have that layer selected click on the "move" tool. The layer should be outlined and there should be spots that you can drag to make the layer bigger or smaller.

Select the layer. Nudge it. Edit/transform scale.

The transform is ctrl+T (cmnd + T on a Mac) or in edit-transform as Maki said.

The move tool is at the top of the toolbar (the shortcut is V)

Make sure your layer is selected for both of these operations.

Towards this end, if you want to keep the proportions the same, hold shift while adjusting it. That will be very useful 95% of the time.
