According to this page, it is not natively supported in iTunes:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/itunes.html

Of course, since FLAC is lossless, you could always convert your files to ALAC without any degradation, but I suspect that it not the solution you're looking for.

Nope. Winamp will, though--and you can import your iTunes library into Winamp.

You'll want to covert your FLAC files to MP3's/Wav/Something you can play on your Ipod,...you have to get a tool such as db poweramp. I've also used MKWact to convert .SHN (another lossless compression) into MP3s to be played on an iPod. Of course it's lossy,...but not enough to turn me off.

Yes you can, you just have to fool around a bit. Google it, I did it a few years back and it worked great. Although you might not be able to on the newer versions of iTunes. It was still in build 6.x when I did it.

As above have stated, Itunes only supports ALAC, which you could convert your FLAC files to without any degradation. I would suggest using a player such as Foobar 2000. Most of my library is comprised of flac as well as high bitrate files 24/96, and foobar does nicely.
