Please help! problem with U-Control UCA200

I want to use my Behringer U-Control UCA200 as my main sound card as i have some new edirol studio monitors which i have just connected to it but the sound from my computer doesn't go through it, how do i change this so that it does? It works when i play back or monitor things in cubase but not for games, general sound, music or anything else.
Please help!
