PM's top or bottom?

I send and receive a lot of PM's here on TB. Some people reply from the top of the message and others reply from the bottom.

Which do you do?

Like a chat session or writing on paper.

I put my responses at the bottom.

reply from the top, makes it easier for the person to see what you are saying instead of scrolling down, especially after a few back and forths.

yes I said back and forths after tops and bottoms.

Top for PM's, bottom for forum posts.

Top, because the recipient can quickly read your message.

Bottom, so people can figure out what you're responding to.
