My kids played Diamond and Pearl until they lost both games somewhere in the house. Those tiny DS games are pretty damned easy to misplace, grrrr.

Her favorites are Pilkachu, Chimchar, Piplup, and Monafee (sp?)
Only a Dad would know this - or want to.

Most of the original 151 were fairly reaistic and loosely based on real animals. When I got Gold I was like "eww, what on earth is that?" they all looked so rubbish and had naff names.
This is when I stopped, and something about me being an adult too. Ive got my shiny pokemon cards still from when I was at school. (Girlfriend keeps on reminding me how sad it is.. but I shoud point out I dont play iwth the cards, mearly still have them!) |

And guess what? You can't. At least, I can't. Nor do I want to spend $30 for the ones worth my time. I've been kicking myself ever since for buying a DS.
And I enjoy Pokemon a little bit. The original games were great.
