political ad on TB?

Whats up with the political "Pickens Plan" advertisement? If we cant discuss politics, why in the world is there a political ad on this site?

firefox + adblock plus = no more ads. also, i think the ads are generated at random, TB doesn't directly "allow" them.

Not generated at random, google adsense picks up keywords in threads and displays ads accordingly.

TB has no control over the ads.
