I've seen a few TBers with new avatars displaying their favorite presidential candidates. I'm very put off by them; I thought TB was a politics-free zone.
I checked the rules and this doesn't seem to be prohibited. Politic topics are phohibited, but not avatars. . .
Anybody else feel this way?

don't you have a gun in your avatar? from the looks of things in off topic i'd say that offends quite a few people as well.....

The mods have ruled that they're OK because it's just an avatar, not a thread containing political discussion.
Personally, I really don't care who has what for an avatar. |

Anybody else feel this way? | Political correctness becomes silly once ppl go out of their way to get offended. |

But, yes, you all have good points, it's just freedom of expression and an avatar don't harm anybody. |

In the past I admit to putting up some very oblique political avatars, not to mention Custom User captions.
I confess that I was only trying to annoy FL Knifemaker and not anyone else....
