Light[en] up, [Pope] Francis.

chris1125 03-13-2013 01:41 PM

Oh, is that why you couldn't hear a word of it?

hrodbert696 03-13-2013 01:43 PM

This is by FAR, my favorite movie of all time. No kidding.

I just flicked on the TV and that was on, I noticed the SM58 before I noticed that they had named a new pope.

No, it's because the "professional sound man" couldn't find the media feed.

If it's good enough for Rob Halford, it should be good enough for de pope.

20db pad 03-13-2013 04:56 PM

He prayed for a Beta 58 but...

darius8 03-13-2013 06:06 PM

Maybe the mic is symbolic to him being "conservative".

fdeck 03-13-2013 06:43 PM

He should have used a DI. ;)

He would but his input is still sore from the initiation , uhhh , luncheon.

More importantly, which bass company will chase him for sponsorship?

I'm guessing Fodera, offering him a Pope pre-amp.

EHX may want him to endorse the Holy Grail reverb.

If EHX isn't successful in securing Pope Francis' endorsement, they could try seeking the surviving Monty Python members.

I thought the SM58 was a gun. Just shows what I know, well in this case don't know.

He looks kinda like Jim Bowen, it was pointed out to me yesterday and I just can't unsee it.

For those outwith the UK, he used to host a darts based gameshow (which was, mostly, hilarious for all the wrong reasons).

Everybody has a rider. I guess the SM58 is on his.
