Positive Energy for Matt Leone (Madina Lake)

Just a request for some positive energy for bass brother Matt Leone who stepped up when he saw a woman being beaten on the streeet and is in the hospital with 1/3 of his skull removed for his trouble.

Many of us would have done the same thing I think.

Wow! I don't know the band, but that's awful. And a very heroic act by Matt Leone. I know exactly where that is, it's an industrial area that's pretty desolate at night. It took major stones for him to intervene, I'm sure there was no one else around.

Leone tried to intervene, was punched in the face by Pivec and fell to the ground, where Pivec kicked Leone in the head and face approximately 10 times, Lippert said.
Pivec fled, but a nearby witness was able to direct police to him, Lippert said.

Leone sustained massive head injuries, including subdural and epidural hematomas, temporal bone fractures and nasal fractures, Lippert said. He was hospitalized for days before police were able to talk to him about the attack.

Question tho, seeing as the only reason he is needing medical attention is because he was attacked, can't the guy who attacked him be sued to cover expenses and damages etc etc?

Something similar happened to me way back in 1975. I was defending the honor of a lady and I took a beer glass to the eye for my troubles. Luckily my big, 70s style glasses took the brunt of the blow and I didn't lose my sight. But they never caught the kid who did it.
