Hopefully she keeps to her side of VA and I to mine.

My Son & I stayed here at our house and I bought her a nice little place across town, & gave her some cash to get her settled in.
Often times in a divorce, hard feelings lead to the kids suffering, some women get stalked or they argue about custody or whatever.
I wish my ex-wife the best. She may not have a relationship with our Son, but she is still his Mother. I'm happy not to have a hate thing going.

First of all, to the poster who asked which assets I want to transplant: she HAS no assets...she's just a major liability.
Next, she lives in an adjacent state, 103+ miles away, unfortunately with my 5-year-old son, who I only get to see every other weekend. Worse, while she doesn't limit the existing visitation schedule, she certainly doesn't go out of her way to make sure I get to talk to him every day. She gives me no updates on his progress. And, worse, she's tinkering with our parenting agreement in every possible way she (as a lawyer) can find.
She's married now, and I have no ill-feelings toward her husband. In fact, as far as I can tell, he's actually a normal, decent guy. Since he's come in to her life, she's actually mellowed to some degree. But, it still doesn't stop her from trying to frustrate me to no end.
Great saying that love is a grand....my divorce cost a heck of a lot more than $29 grand - it drove me to the brink of bankruptcy and destroyed my retirement account.
I just want a different ex-wife. Is it possible to trade with some poor schmuck who hates HIS ex-wife?

Congrats on keeping your money out of the court system's hands!
