Well, we all know life can kick you in the face/nuts/mysterious lady parts from time to time.

But sometimes the little things go well and you feel good - or even the big ones do, and you feel even better.

So, share your good news here, Talkbass, however big or small it may be! This thread is yours.

I'll start out: I had a really nice jam tonight, with a couple of old friends among the band.

The wife and I are finally moving out of the studio and into a 1bdr! Far nicer neighborhood, and 5 minutes away from work, no less!

Well, I got accepted to be an extra (among many) in an upcoming film, that's the good news , the bad news is that one of the two scheduled days of filming is sunday and I cant make it.. there's still another day left though so at least I'll be able to get a 1/2 second cameo or something with Tracy Morgan!

I have not just one, but two payings gigs this weekend, for a whopping total of $150!

I know, BFD, but for where I am as a player, I'm happy about it. 2 or 3 years ago I thought I would never be good enough to get a paying gig.
