Inspired by the "Post your Sunglasses" thread and all of its inspirations.
Until about a month and two days ago I was against wearing hats and would fight to the death to keep them off my head. I dont know why, maybe it was the shape of my face or head, or the long hair, but I thought I looked horribly stupid in any hat.
Then I was told, by several people mind you, that I was the only person this year that could pull off wearing a fedora to grad. Being a big enough jackass to do it I went looking for a hat a couple days before grad.
I stumble across a really cool hat store (I forget the name, but if theres anyone in Edmonton here its the one above the Starbucks on Whyte) and tried on couple.
To my astonishment I was actually able to find a hat that I loved. A Bailey Wynn Fedora (I think its technically a Trilby if you want to get technical though).
I actually got a black one, but the lighter colour shows the contours of the hat much better. Its crushable (which I thought was the coolest thing ever) and I was assured it was "a good starter fedora." That last part kind of scared me to be honest... Will I end up with racks and racks of hats in my lifetime?
But post your hat, and maybe let us know why you chose that one. |

EDIT// Oh, and I chose it because all I've ever wanted was a big mad hatter top hat. A real one, not a costume one. My head is too big for baseball caps etc. |

Bought this when I got a pro setup on one of my basses. It was sitting in the back of the shop collecting dust. Guy sold it to me for $5.
My old pinstripe Sox hat. Go Sox!
Thoes are the only graphic hats I own. The rest are plain beanies.

Except me.... On a good day I think I can pull of Hasidic Jew or some guy who owns a circus. I suppose the long hair isnt really helping with either of those.
I get a lot of compliments though (but maybe I only run into really nice people) and its just fun to wear, so every morning I put it on and just give em hell. |

And this is what I wear for normal hat situations

T is for Tim, not Tennessee. I know I bought it when I was at Tennessee, but not why I bought it.
That and I like orange.
Mine's a lot dirtier.

But mine is alternating silver and black stripes, not brown. I'll post a "real" pic of me in mine later. |

This is what I wear when I am on the motorcycle
This is what I wore before I had the dreads. It doesn't fit over them anymore.
