Here is a little something I got the other day. My day job is as an RN but I still found room to sneak in a little bass.

none for me yet... the wife and I are both getting them and she's gone first...

I edited this post again to remove the previous pictures. She is done now and the artist has my concept art. I don't have my first appointment scheduled but I'm going late next week for a measurement and go over his preliminary sketches.

Well it's a year later and I FINALLY got my first ink. The artist the wife used finished hers up and then kinda flaked for the summer, broke his hand and whatever, he's an artist just like we are I'm not gonna throw any stones

I finally pinned him down in May for the wife's birthday tattoo... she went for her second session today and I had one of the other artists work on me.

A nod to my favorite bass maker and model, and a nod to my love of nature. It'll be part of a much bigger piece later in the year. It was done by Dave Long @ Tattooville, Toms River

Here is the wife's first tattoo on her right thigh

and the first session picture of her new one (she had it shaded today, goes back in 3 weeks for the rest of the scene and then again in 2 more weeks for the water)

Both done by Paul Davis @ Tattooville, Toms River

Here's mine...

The artist that did it here in Nottingham, UK was killed in a motor cycle accident 2 weeks after the last session so now it's a real collectors piece! (R.I.P. Sumo).

I'm working on a Koi/Dragon Sleeve with Jesse Tseronis at Sakura Tattoo in Winchester, VA. I'm three sessions in with at least two more to go.:
