Post Your Monthly Cellphone Bill Here

Please include as many details as possible. I listed 11. Pay as you go or prepaid doesn't count.

I'm curious to see what everybody else is paying for smart phone service, especially tb'ers from Montreal. My old contract finally ended with Fido and I've been itching for one of those new smart phones. Now I'm not that tech. savvy but I know enough that my three main choices are Blackberry, iphone, and Android. I flipped a coin and it landed on iphone. After threatening to change providers this is the deal I got:

65$ can + tax/month
iphone 4, black, 32 gigs
3 year
Fido Canada (owned by Rogers, I think)
250 daytime min
6 gigs data
free incoming calls
free outgoing calls after 5 pm and weekends
unlimited text/photo worldwide
voice mail
call display

Did I get a fair deal?

I now have a Samsung Android phone. 175 bucks for the phone. 25 bucks a month for 300 anytime minutes and unlimited text and data on the Virgin Mobile plan. Since I rarely make calls, as I only use as a necessity, it's a beautiful thing.

$7 per month really about $20 per 3 months.

im on a pay as you go cell plan. i pretty much only carry the thing for emergency purposes. when i call someone it is usually just to set up a time and place to meet.

I split it with my dad cause were on the same plan so my half is about 65 a month plus the extra 25 dollar smartphone plan so it comes out to about 90 a month.

In the near future I'm getting a Droid Incredible and will be using Verizon. Here's what it's going to look like:

Phone
----------------------------
Droid Incredible $149.99 + tax

Plan
----------------------------
450 Daytime Mins
Unlimited Text, Picture, Video & Instant Messaging
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
Unlimited Nights and Weekends
Basic Voice Mail
Caller ID/Blocking
----------------------------
$59.99/Month

20% Bank Employee Discount
----------------------------
$59.99 $47.99/Month
----------------------------
Unlimited Data $29.99
----------------------------
Total Monthly $77.98 + Tax/Month

:-\ It's kind of a lot, but I don't have a landline, and I'm not going to be home very often, so it's not too bad.

I use Tracfone.
$10 a month for 100 rollover minutes and 60 days service, no contract. Nothing fancy, basically just talk and text. At this point, since I only use it for emergencies (like when my land line goes out for some reason) or the rare LD call, I have about 824 minutes in reserve.

Some colleagues asked me why I haven't got an iPhone yet. I told them that I got a new upright bass instead. It has a lower cost of ownership, and is more useful.

monthly bill is $137.50

2 line family plan with unlimited data, text and mobile to mobile calling. 1500 shared minutes for calls to and from land lines. I've got an Android phone (Samsung Moment soon to be upgraded to a Samsung Epic I think) and the with an original LG Lotus. We also have Roadside assistance bundled into the price, but it ends up being worthless and recently redundant so the bill should reduce about $3.50 or so. I think my phone was $150 but I got the wife's for free.
