I've been going to check bands out since my very first concert back in ...ummm....can't even remember the year, but it was early 80's-like maybe 1980-81 or so? Anyway it was Kiss. I remember that my second concert was just about a year or so later. It was Iron Maiden. After that, I started bugging my parents everytime a good band came through.
Since then, I've been to thousands.

However, I do have a few hundred ticket stubs and passes at home that I keep telling myself I'm going to stick in an album one day.

Wow, it feels weird to say that...
Plus, of the bands that I have seen, most of you wouldn't know who the heck they are. |

The Coral
Kaiser Chiefs
Hard-Fi
The Cribs
Orson
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dirty Pretty Things
Muse
Reel Big Fish x2
Streetlight Manifesto
Kyle Eastwood
UK Subs
The Vibrators
I think that's all. If you really wanted I could try to remember all of the unsigned bands that I have seen as well, but there are quite a lot.

| | NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN! | | Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada | | I've seen a lot of bands because I'm always checking out the smaller, touring bands who come through our city. My list is easily way too long to ever type out, but in terms of 'big' bands, or ones that might be recognized:
Matthew Good (twice: once acoustically, and once with a full band)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Mars Volta
Feist
Radiohead (in August)
Bloc Party (in September)
Thrice
Gym Class Heroes (didn't go to see them, but they were playing the same show as another band I went to see)
In terms of smaller bands:
Apostle of Hustle
Young Galaxy
Most Serene Republic
Rx Bandits
Jason Collett
Dala
The Spades
Hey Rosetta!
And then dozens of small bands and local bands, most of whom I cannot remember anyway. |

Reel Big Fish x2

The Vibrators | That's a nice group of UK bands. How was Dirty Pretty Things? I want to give them a try sometime time, especially since I consider The Libertines one of the best bands of the 2000's
Big bands goes:
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Kanye West
Matisyahu
Cypress Hill
The New Pornographers
Wolfmother
Smashing Pumpkins
The Police(reunion, I'm 19)
The Killers
John Butler Trio
Raconteurs
Wu Tang Clan(awesome)
The Mars Volta
Dream Theater
Opeth
Bloc Party
Radiohead
The Who (reunion)
Velvet Revolver
And a bunch of others. I know I'm missing a good amount, but I can't quite remember.
My favorite performances were Radiohead, RHCP, The Mars Volta, and The New Pornographers |

I saw them by accident - they were supporting RHCP. Not really my thing - same with the Libertines. I have a friend who adores the Libertines and DPT and Babyshambles though, and he has seen DPT a couple of times and thinks they are good. I guess they put on a good show, but I can't stand their music.
Same with The Cribs (supporting Kaiser Chiefs).

I had a chance to see them at street scene in San Diego for free but ended up not going. I regret that decision so much! Ive seen video's of them live and they sound amazing. Plus, the best light show ive ever seen from a band.
