Potato Chip addicts thread

Even when dieting, I refuse to give up my potato chips. What's usually in the house is whatever brand is on sale for "two bags for $5". A few quick observations:

1) My fav brand is Old Dutch.
2) My fav flavor is Old Dutch "Onion and Garlic"
3) When I'm in another state, I like to try the "local" potato chip.
4) Seems like lots of places have the local potato chip brand.
5) I like the burnt ones.
6) I prefer eating my chips with dip.
7) Fav dip flavor = sour cream mixed with onion soup mix.
8) I like a bowl of potato chips mixed with popcorn.
9) Like soda pop, when I was a kid, potato chips were more considered "party" or "weekend" snacks - they weren't everysay foods like today.
10) Pringles'll do in a pinch.
11) Ripple vs. plain?
12) Kettle chips?

Latley I've been a fan of Walkers new baked Crisps, they taste so nice...much better than regular Walkers.

Royster's T-bone Steak flavour are my favourite of all time. So light, so bubbly and so tasty.

I like Humpty Dumpty brand.

They have a Salt and Vinegar chip that will turn your face inside out and their BBQ chip is more on the smokey side unlike lays sweet and smokey chip.

They're definately a must for any snack food lover visiting Maine.

I wasn't aware those were available outside of eastern Canada.

They're all over Maine, mostly anywhere within a couple hours from the border. I live about 30 minutes from the St. Stevens border, so they're in every corner store and every supermarket.

Cape Cod chips. Regular old plain flavor is the best.

I like one brand of them, while I hate most of the others. It has to do with the distribution of the flavouring on the chip, and most of them have very little of the flavouring whereas the Lays ones have it in abundance. Thats why they're so good.

I never even knew such a thing existed! Whats the difference from milk being in a carton or a jug?

If you know your way around the kitchen, you gotta make your own just once. It's another level entirely.

I enjoy lots of chips. Particularly Ruffles with Lays Creamy Ranch dip.
