Mine hasn't quite yet bailed me out of a situation, but I use it all the time. I love it. All I got in mine is a red LED, an ink pen, scissors, and a few of the standard blades.

I flipped out not too long ago when I couldn't find it. I even bothered our resident TB knife maker and asked him if he had one I could buy. This was before I realized the guy makes huge knives with fancy handles on them.

I bought one when I was in Guatemala about 15 years ago. It had a few features I hadn't seen at the time (decent saw with cover for the teeth capped by a bottle opener). Olive green with a textured "handle" with no exterior markings. Victorinox printed on the blade.

It got stolen a few years later and I never found another. The end.

I had my little blade confiscated in an airport. I had just finished a cross-country road trip and I was flying home. Forgot to take the knife out of my backpack and put it in my checked luggage. I got really nervous when they pulled it out of my backpack, but all they did was toss it in the little basket with all the other ones that they had confiscated that day and waved me on through.

I literally jacked up a car with mine.

Rental car got a flat. Predictably, part of the jack was missing - the part you used to turn the jack crank.
Little Red Knife to the rescue - pulled out one of the blades (I forget which), and cranked up the jack, changed the tire, and - done.

They probably have hundreds of pocket knifes/nail clippers/files that they confiscate each day.

I heard that every month or so they sell them all for super cheap. Still scared the crap out of my though. Kind of sucks because I really liked that knife, even though it was only a surplus store impulse buy.

My friends uncle works in airport security, whenever my friend goes to see him he comes back with a huge assortment of lighters.

Check eBay. I have seen quite a few people selling knives and such confiscated at the airport. I don't know how they are getting the inside scoop on the items, probably a supervisor who said "I'll take of this" and grabbed the box at the end of someones shft.

Nice choice, my girlfriends dad has one of those but the tip on the blade has broken off, I told him he can just send it back and get a replacement but he hasn't yet

I will always have mine on me, It's one of those things that go in your pockets; wallet, phone, swiss army knife.
