| Limestone is a key component in concrete, so yer already halfway or more there... That said, limestone itself is very durable, and over time and weathering with settle in better as a surface as it's partially soluable with water... between that and compacting...so crushed concrete is almost overkill. Layer good packed base, rockdust then crushed limestone, should last a good long time. I helped do a horse riding ring in this method, and you'd be hard pressed to tell, over the course of 4 years, that it was ever used...(surprised myself how well it held up)
The great pyramids were made entirely out of limestone if that is a testament to its durability.
