Processor Question (Dual/Multi Core)

What's the difference between the 2. I'd think dual core is multi core, since any thing more than one would technically be multi.

Well yeah, "multi-core" would refer to anything more than one. 2-core processors are generally referred to as "Dual Core" and anything more than 2 as "Multi".
AMD and Intel are both producing 4 and 6 core processors now.
