The Saints put nearly 50 points on the board.

With almost a full quarter remaining in the game.

The cheerleaders could score 50 against the Lions.

Or maybe I'm the reason of the apocalypse, because by the time I'm 19 my level of awesomeness will be so high that the world will simply explode.

it is my understanding that this date marks another cycle of the mayan calendar. it has cycled through several times without any magical world ending powers.

not like i believe in this anyway, but the mayans do have sets of predictions which recycle as well, and we just start over at the first one again on that date. they predict a paradigm shift of some sort (i dont recall the specifics), and not necessarily the end of the world.

fun lore, common misunderstanding.

And all the experts said that an earth quake would drop Calif. into the ocean the summer of 68 leaving people in Colorado with beach front property. I delivered the 400 Herald Examiners on a 5 speed, banana seat Schwinn that day...metal flake blue....still can't surf in Colorado.

I rather like my mountains though. It's not really a bad thing.

Same here, I used to hike in Estes whenever I got a chance. Moved away from Calif. in '85 (tho' not from fear of earth quakes) and now only go back to bury people.

Some would say the earthquake *did* happen, but in '67 and not in the earth but in the heads of people living here...........sure seemed like it for a while.

Leaders of a major religion predicted the end of the world would take place in 1914. According to their leaders of today, this prediction came true. We are now in "the end times" and the date the world began to end was in 1914. The Apocalypse is a lot slower than I imagined it.

The four horsemen have never ridden slower.
