So, I've been wondering, what is the proper pose one should ideally have for taking mugshots?
There seems to be a few different schools of thought, and most seem to lean towards the sullen stare, while a few go for the menacing look.
Do they give you many options during booking?
I'm not expecting to get arrested in the near future, but would appreciate any prep work I could do now, since they usually shy away from lengthy internet research during the arrest process.

Does smug come across well on mug shots? I keep getting told that I seem smug. I'm just throwing things out there.

its not all that pleasant of an experience, so most people arent giving the camera their best smile.
also, does anyone know if theres a way to find a mugshot? id be curious to check that out. |

The experience included the counter person making the mistake of yelling at me... I yell louder and make meaner looking faces.
Actually... I'm surprised I got out of there with my DL renewed.
Farking DMV... and govt employees wonder why they get such bad press. |

They also really, really need an editor - their grammar and layouts are crap sammiches.
