Don't even get me started on our Attorney General's reaction, or lack of reaction regarding this.
Any one of us would have laid this pervert out too. http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/local/BO82238/

lowsound | Very true. I had not thought of that. |

| | | | More nonsense from the People's Republic of Massachusetts. Remember that in MA, self-defense is pretty much illegal. C'mon, you need a firearms license to own pepper spray in that state. I'm not surprised at all that they charged the father for protecting his kid.

I'd also probably go to jail for the rest of my life so I'm glad it hasn't happened to me. i'm very sorry for the child and the father. |

If the story actually happened as reported, I'd do the same without a doubt.

| | | | Wow, I actually have to say I would have done the same thing in that case. If not punched him at least drag him to the nearest phone and make sure his head hit a few solid objects along the way.
Normally when I see this sort of thing I expect some unnecessary force to be used and the person who used it to be let off, but the one time it actually seems in line the guy gets arrested. Crazy. |

This character on Family Guy creeps me out. | his name is Moe Lester and he's one of my favorite characters it's absolutely hilarious.
I especially liked it when he sang "I know what boys like" when auditioning to be the church organist.
I personally believe that child molestation should be punishable by death. |

And honestly, that guy would be lucky if he could walk away under his own power once I was done with him. No one messes with family, especially when they're 4 years old.
And I really cannot understand how they could charge that guy with assault. Are you kidding????? A 71 year old man does that and says it was a joke? I'd show him how funny it wasn't. Worthless piece of crap.

I'll try to find it. |

Attacking a 71 year old man is dangerous. He may not hurt you, but murder or manslaughter charges are sure to be no picnic.

I mean, I don't have kids, but if I was with one of my little cousins or nieces/nephews and some guy did this to one of them, that guy wouldn't be leaving the store under his own power.

The AG was on a radio program today and some of her comments regarding this (again with her attitude of she had no clue about this) were:
"How old was this child?" (as if that matters)
"The child is now safe and the event is over" (BULL...molestation usually results in emotional trauma that does not leave once the physical action is over)

Are they saying that he actually molested the kid in the bathroom, or is it still that he just reached up and touched the kid's leg (with no further description)?
If the old man was indeed trying to cop a feel, I hope he pays the price.... but if he's just a goofy old man that doesn't know when is and isn't the time to make friends, I hope the words chosen for all the media coverage doesn't ruin the rest of his life.

Without getting political (and if this is, mods feel free to edit/delete), Massachusetts seems to have a history of idiotic attorney generals.
