My wife recently purchased a PS3 for me and we purchased an lcd hdtv as well. When trying to setup the PS3 and tv i noticed that there was some "distortion" or intereference with the picture. It seems as though the TV is taking a second to focus in on the picture, any time there is movement on the screen the TV seems to loose focus and then focuses in. The picture seems to only stay in focus as long as there is no movement on the screen. I'm not real saavy with the PS3 so i'm not real sure if i'm missing something, or if it is the tv? It acts the same if i'm watching a dvd or playing a game so.... i'm at a loss. I've been messing with it for a few hours now and i'm tired from a long day at work and frustrated to boot. So, i thought i would give you guys a shout out and see if anyone with a little more experience with the PS3 and setup with and hdtv could give me a little help?

You mention that this 'distortion' only occurs with a moving image which leads me to believe that everything is working fine and this is probably the first LCD TV display you and your wife have owned and watched.
There's nothing you can do about the ghosting, its an inherent problem to every LCD display - remember that LCDs were originally designed for static display applications like word processing and general PC use. |

I agree on HDMI too. | Pretty much. I always did all the intels though, it really built up the anticipation of the assassination. I really made it a point to get a clean kill on all the assassination's I could.
