Public apology to Jauqo III X and TB forums entirety

Sign in to disble this ad
This thread is a public apology to Jauqo III X and the Talkbass forums entirety for my childish behavior of late. I've been going through something lately (what it is is irrelevant) and it's caused me to act uncharacteristically ill-tempered on the forums, specifically on Jauqo's threads.

I've spoken to Jauqo on the phone this morning after apologizing in a PM and I think he's a very cool, sincere cat. I have no good excuse for targeting him, except to say the problem was all mine.

I'm changing the things in my life that have made me act so foolishly, and I want to state publicly that I feel nothing but peace and love for my bass playing breathren on Talkbass. I'm a father of 4 and to act in such a childish manner is a very embarassing thing to realize, but I'm manning up and trying to fix it the best way I know how.

This is my solemn promise to not ever take my crap out on a fellow TBer again.

Thanks for reading.

Shawn

All is forgiven. Now, let's discuss this pants down spanking! Seriously, it takes a man, bro. It takes a man.

What about paddle wood? We need the most resonant wood & only a light nitro finish so it will reveberate properly.

You should have posted your apology in the largest font available on TB (size 7) and then bolded it. It shows emphasis and confidence in one's message.

Mike

See?

Shawn,
I'm not sure or concerned with what happened, but I applaud you being accountable for your actions. Your humilty and request of forgiveness will bring well deserved grace and acceptance in all circles of your life.

I sincerely suggest we all take personal inventory of ourselves and not be known as "typical self-righteous musician jerks" as I've seen stated here in TB.

I've been coming here to TB for about a month now and more of thes etype of posts are quite refreshing!!!

Bless you Shawn!!!!!!

I didn't follow what happened. And maybe I shouldn't type in, but this is nice.
Thanks.

Shawn our conversation was kool and I fully understand and hold no animosity in any way towards you and for you to express what you've expressed here says a lot about the person you are and choose to be.

It's all good and growth is a great thing.

I have no idea what you are taking about. It would be helpful if you would post links to your most obnoxious posts so we can get a feel for your need to apologize. Heck I should do the same! Wait, no, bad idea.

BTW. Real men don't apologize. They buy each other beer. You owe Jauqo a beer.
