Puppy mills are completely and totally wrong. Not only do they weaken the bloodlines of entire breeds and propagate all sorts of genetic weaknesses and diseases but they're also partially responsible for the glut of unwanted dogs in shelters. The people that run these things are barely even human in my eyes, they're monsters who care nothing for an animals well-being.

Bingo. Over the years there's been a few of these.. 'operations' exposed up here, which is why I chose to sign that petition.

I believe I own a puppy mill dog. I actually did more research on the subject after we got a puppy than I did before we got a puppy.

Physically, she's fine, but she is the weirdest most neurotic little dog I've ever known. I don't know what the first 9 weeks of her life were like, but she just aint right I tell ya.

+1

I got my dog from a pet store (stupid I know), and I'm pretty sure he came from a mill. He had all sorts of problems for a while. Now I consider him an expensive rescue dog.
