OK, so I want to say something along the lines of...
If A doesn't happen, then B isn't true. But I want to say it in the form of: Quote: |
It won't be until A happens will B come true.
| Is this grammar correct? If not, what's right way to word it?

Originally Posted by rustynuts "It isn't until A happens that B will be/come true." | This is correct. In Latin it would have to be optative/future optative, which is how I remember it.

There's no way it's going to work with "won't be"?

Fill us in on the specifics and we can pretty much guarantee that the correct form for your purpose will be hashed out.

Basically, I have to start a sentence with "It won't be until something happens, will something else be true" in correct grammar.

Should be "Only after A happends, will B be true"
OR "Not until A happends, will B be true."
OR if you have to stick with the "It isn't until" stuff, then rustynuts suggestion would be right.
*I must be bored.* |
