For Halloween, I want to be the Joker (from The Dark Knight). Anyone know what type of makeup I need in order to make some fake scars?

Are you going to be the regular joker, or the joker wearing the nurses outfit?
Because the latter is a bit scarier and more original. I doubt very many will think of this idea.

One only has to look at people's facebook and myspace profiles to see an already alarming trend.

Rinse and repeat to build up the "swelling" to about 5-8mm (or half an inch I suppose), then gouge the middle of the glue out (gently) and pack the gouged area with whatever makeup/paints you're using the make the scar up so it looks like a genuine gash/opening.
Or, if you really want to seperate yourself from the other 200 million, grab a scalpel blade
