Your call, but since you're asking: I walked into my prom, took pictures for evidence, and left. That's when I was in school. I was in your current situation a year later. I went to a party instead.

There's no shame in going when you're in college in that situation. When I was 20 I dated an 18 year old still in high school. Had we continued dating around prom I fully intended on going.
