This is horrible! He was a truly great author. What a loss.

Dang, no way.

ER was a great show. Maybe this is why he decided to wrap up the show this season.

I remember reading Andromeda Strain when I was in high school (I was a library rat). Thrilling, urbane stuff.
Then, of course, how can we forget the judicial use of T. Rex to unclog that flush in Jurassic Park of an unsightly lawyer...priceless!

After an exciting night, a sadder'n hell day.

I don't know many authors who could write about Vikings fighting Zombies from the viewpoint of a crazy Arab, and make it awesome.

I loved him (Eaters Of The Dead) and hated him (State Of Fear was pathetic.) But... still... 66 is way too young for the vibrant mind that was MC. Bummer...

That sucks. I always enjoyed his books, I've read nearly all of them.

Wow, RIP. I remember reading Andromeda Strain a long time ago and being blown away. I wasn't a fan of his recent work, but he'll be greatly missed.

I liked the book and though the movie didn't exactly follow the book(how many really do?) it was pretty good.
