Hey,
so I've fairly recently moved to Melbourne (about a year ago) and have received a few parking fines, a few of which, you know, I probably deserved and paid without issue.
However there have been a few simply ridiculous moments where I didn't pay (such as parking outside my own house with a parking permit I paid for and still getting a ticket...amongst others...). I WAS expecting a letter of some description or a warning, but its never come. My car is registered to my parents in NSW but still no letters have come through for any of the four fines that weren't paid to them.
So basically, does that mean it's forgotten and I should just move on? Or will I receive hundreds of dollars worth of overdue notices a year or two down the track? Its already been over six months since some of these fines were initially received...
Sorry, possibly a strange post though the only forum I'm a member of, and thought someone may have had a similar issue before
Thanks for any advice/help in advance...
