SALT LAKE CITY - A rap by four teenagers at a McDonald's has gotten them a bad rap in one Utah city.

The teens were cited by American Fork police earlier this week for disorderly conduct after they rapped their order at a McDonald's drive-through.

Don't try busting rhymes in Salt Lake, man.

I wonder if that means I can have citations issued to McDonalds when I have to repeat my order three times and then get held up at the window when I have to send it back because they still got it wrong.

Rap isn't illegal. Getting a Salt Lake McDonalds manager to understand it is. They didn't buy anything, line or no line.

Pranking is one thing, 'till you Pi$$ somebody off.

God Bless, Ray

Maybe if the guys rapped in Spanish. Most of the restaurants where I grew up have latino crews.

Based on my observations of the fine people of Utah, 2006 is still on average a decade ahead of their current social trends.

So its now illegal to hold up the queue in a MacDonald's? Goodness. Yet they get away with so much that's illegal anyway.

FYI: Beer is also illegal in Utah.

What they have down there might pass for Near Beer.

Rapping is a blight upon this earth, and I will vote for any man for president who outlaws it.

What's funny is that I'm actually wearing a t-shirt right now that advertizes Salt Lake City and I'm quite the beer snob (and occasional hip hop music supporter). According to my girlfriend (who purchased said t-shirt for me at a layover flight from Kansas back to Kalifornia) the airport actually doesn't feel like the backwards wasteland of degraded humanity that I associate with the fine state of Utah. Goes to show you can't judge a book by it's airport.

I'm a hip hop supporter myself,...but suburban white teenagers rapping a McD's order would be quite annoying. Tacky yes but warranting a ticket? Nah.

EDIT: I'm assuming they are white. I've been to Utah and don't recall seeing any black people there.

They're Utah teenagers. It's just them getting their kicks before getting hitched to the four or five teenage wives they'll have to keep happy.

That's not the whole story they have written there.

The manager claims that the teens were using a lot of profanity while ordering the items, and that's why the arrest was made.

Of course, the teens say they "only dropped the F-bomb once". As far as I know, the case is going to court.

EDIT: Yes, they are white people. It's American Fork, Utah.

I suggest that being stupid in public has always been an easy way to get in trouble. That was their primary offense - stupid in public.
