RAVE: Moving Day Surprises (for a bassist)

1. Nice, I found my $20 Hosa XLR splitter while moving furniture out! Glad I don't have to buy that one again.

2. All my cords are properly wound and sitting in a pile, probably for the first time ever.

3. Since you always move the things you need the most last, my bass amp is sitting by itself in my "old" room. Taking all the furniture out of the room (esp the mattress in front of the downfired 18) has really opened the place up and made my sound AMAZING!

I don't think I'll have any furniture in my next room.

Leaving Boone, hm?

Man, I love that town, but don't have an excuse to visit any longer since my stepdaughter graduated from ASU last spring.

Beautiful country up there...

Oooh boone, nice. I play for a week at a camp in Banner Elk up there every year. If it's after 10 and I want to eat, the closest place that has anything open is Boone, so I end up there a few times a year, haha.

I understand about moving and how it is a pain but can be nice too. I'm moving into my apartment soon so I'll have all of that fun stuff to look forward to.

I'm pretty sure if I moved I would find tons and tons of picks.

I feel you on that man. I move on Tuesday. I'm confident that I will be finding plenty of stuff that I didn't remember that I've lost.

I've been in tech for a show this past week & am completing this weekend's engagement tonight. Afterwards-i need to finish packing and cleaning. Woohoo for cheaper apartments [next one for me is about $200 a month less].
