But didn't Ray kill somebody in a club somewhere early in his football career? |

Do a little research before posting, please. Notice how no one explained exactly why they think he's such a total *******?

I think he'll get in first time, but not unanimous. One thing's for sure, he won't have to wait as long as Rush did!

The charges were dropped against Lewis when he agreed to testify against his two co-defendants. Lewis pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of Obstruction of Justice. Here's a summary article from when the felony charges were dropped: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...wis_agreement/

If he had a good reputation, he'd be a first ballot, no doubt. At his prime, he was one of the best and most feared defensive players in the game, period.
But his reputation precedes him - he'll likely make it, but not after a few years first. Guilty or not, and even though he's done some things over the years to shed his bad guy image, some people (which probably includes some HOF voters) will see him as a murderer who only got off because of his status, and no amount of goodwill will shed the fact that he, in their eyes, did the unforgivable (whether he did or not). |

Once again, Ray Lewis did not murder anyone! It was someone from his entourage. |
