I cannot help but think that the adults in the Charlie Brown cartoons must have a trombone with a wah mute for a head or at least an appendage on their heads much like that (since that's how they sound). This leads to a VERY disturbing realization, that the kids in Charlie Brown will eventually become just like this? What are the implications, social consequences, readjustments one would have to make, annual cost of slide oil?
Or another possiility, and maybe more plausible, what if there's some strictly enforced law in the Charlie Brown world that mandates that all persons when they reach their 18th birthday can no longer publicly speak English, but rather are required to communicate by means of a trombone for the rest of their lives!.
Boggles the mind-------------

And, this video is appropriate here. | Dang! Got to it before I could . And I LOLd so hard at the video. I can't see why "I think we're dead" hasn't been made into a T-shirt yet, it's classic material! Right up there with "Don't taze me, Bro!", and "I lean away from the mic to breathe".

I guess one might say that I am facilitating the transition from speaking English to playing trombone as a means of communication, because i do teach trombone lessons every chance i get.
