Was the claim resolved to your satisfaction? How long did it take? What documentation did they require?

Thanks,

I've shipped two different items that were damaged. Both my fault in packing now that I look back at it, and they were claimed each as repairs and both were approved. It took maybe a week to get the money in both instances.

We use them daily, shipping tons ( literally ) of material for HP. Why anyone would use UPS is beyond me. I see how they handle packages... I've been to the main distribution center here and seen how they off load trucks... Annnd I've seen how returned material comes to use through them.

The smell and perform like their uniforms and vehicles look.

I work for a UPS store.. The claims people are a pain in the ass to deal with. They take almost a month to approve, then at least that to inspect the item, then even longer to send you a check..

Can't speak for UPS, but Fedex dropped a Glockenklang cab I sent to a TBer in Nashville. It took about a month, but they paid me the amount for which I insured it plus one-way shipping. I had to provide them with a copy the original shipping documents and advertisements showing the value of a new cab (this one was used and was insured for a lot less than a new one).

They came and picked it up for inspection, then brought it back. Then they came and picked it up for salvage and sent me a check. All in all, they treated me very fairly. Patience was the key.
