I turned vegan again last year and this is gonna be permanent I believe. However I've never been a total vegan before,I don't wear/use anything that'd harm an animal since July this year.
Winter is finally here, its raining and we even expect snow and I'm left here with my Chuck Taylors.I can't find a single brand that has no-leather in its products.I don't want to wear leather boots again,I doubt I can stomac it too.
Any suggestions of brands,ideas?

In that case, I don't really know. I haven't shopped for new shoes in years.

They are a skateboard type shoe, rubber soles (although rubber is made from oil, which is dead animals) and hemp. I have never had a pair, but everyone that I know that has had a pair has liked them.

I also ordered some non-leather Doc Martin ankle boots about 6 years ago... they are still going strong.
Congrads on your humane choice!

What is the Vegan stance on oil? If you're truly vegan then I suppose you be screwed in this day an age. Of course you could sacrifice some of your beliefs in the name of conveniance, as most probably do. But then you'ld have to check all your food sources to see if pesticides are used...how many fieldmice are slaughtered by the harvesters...

Man Veganism is tough. | Oil is not only fossil animals, there are trees and humans in it and I haven't heard a single man killing an animal to stock oil,for the upcoming millions of years. Quote:
