well tomorrow is the day i get my new time wasting toy.
im getting street-fighter turbo and a 3ds (pre-ordered) and since the game cartridges are for DS can be played with a resolution tweak i figured ill pickup some DS games while i wait for more games to be available on the 3ds.
i like arcade style games and fighting games. not looking for something that takes weeks just to figure out what you are doing. just kind of pick up and play type games.
whats cool?

Even though its not a fighting game
its still fun to play and it really pushed the envelope as far using your imagination to figure out stuff
there was a lot of holy *&(p! moments in the game due to cleverness of it

You type in just about any word and it gives it to you. And Super scribblenaughts adds adjectives which added a ton to the games. For example, one of the really early puzzles is to knock down some bottles. I wrote in "Hoverboard" and rode into the bottles lol.

| | | | The remastered version Ocarina of Time should be the killer app of the moment for the machine it's released. Kid Icarus and the remake of Star Fox look pretty darn good too.
As for the 3DS, I quite like the 3D Effect, even though my glasses the effect sometimes isn't the best. Just about the right weight as well, little bit more bulkier than the DSi (normal, not XL).
How are the controls for SSF4? I tried the console versions but gave up as the combos were a pain to pull off. |

controls are quite like cheating with the touchscreen on lite it has 4 programmed combos. that make it easy or you can memorize the controls which are pretty much the same since street fighter 2 a lot more characters

| | | | Just picked SSF4 up. Good stuff, except I'm very bad at fighting games (Super Smash Bros. good at though). Wish they would show the directional buttons to press and a/b/x/y/l/r buttons to hit for combos. Only complaint of the game so far, otherwise it's good. |

Level 5 is making even more of them, even a Phoenix Wright crossover game which should be interesting. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
