Well this summer there will be a lot of down time for me because I'm just barely not old enough to get a work permit and I haven't signed up for any summer classes. So I need a series or two to help kill the time for me. I can't be playing bass ALL the time, and I have other things to do, but still, there's a lot of free time left.
I think the last few I've been watching were Scrubs, House, and Lost. I don't really know if there's a trend there besides the fact that all of them feature doctors, but I don't think that's why I got hooked on them. I guess I'm looking for some shows that are really funny or have an amazing plot. What to watch?

The Office and 30 Rock are also 2 great shows (I like 30 Rock better but it is a very close tie.) Those are my recomendation. Also if you like House you might like Bones.

Anyways I'll check out Bones and The Riches.

I'm sure you are referring to a current running TV series, but if you are looking to buy (or pirate ) a TV series on DVD, I suggest the Black Adder.
In the same vein how about Monty Python's Flying Circus. |

Prison Break
Supernatural
all of those are on break though.
There is a new show coming out from the producer of Lost called the Fringe which looks interesting.

And even though it's really nerdy and they use the very annoying "frak" instead of... well the obvious, Battlestar Galactica (the new one, mind you) is pretty awesome. The acting and effects are on par with 99.9 percent of the movies out there. At least watch a few of the beginning episodes before you write it off.
And I have wanted to see Dexter from the previews, but always forget about it when I'm browsing torrents. On my to-do list.
Oh yeah! You have to see Whitest Kids You Know! It's sketch comedy at its finest. Look em up on youtube. Opposite day and classroom skit are hilarious!

I was so, so, so pleasantly surprised by Breaking bad.. No words to describe how good it is (to me).

As far as other stuff goes, I have one word: Firefly. Best sci-fi series ever. I'm not joking.

I'm watching these on surfthechannel.com, and they had every single House, Lost, and Scrubs, and a bunch of other shows' episodes, so they'll probably have anything that's popular.

Absolutely brilliant comedy. It's just a tragedy that Fox canceled it after only three seasons. Nonetheless, watch it... I doubt you'll be disappointed. Just be sure to watch it from the very beginning, or else a lot of jokes won't make sense.
Also, Curb Your Enthusiasm is hilarious and, beyond the first season, has great continuity...holds you're attention throughout the season.

Robot Chicken is a great watch, even if it's not much of a "Series" as individual episodes/sketches.
